What Comes After the Initial Visit?
Follow up Appointments
After the initial visit, we will meet to discuss how you have been since we last met. We will discuss what is working well and what we may need to change.
These visits are typically scheduled for 20-30 minutes, which generally focus on medication management.
Each person’s individual needs are different, but the frequency of follow up visits can range anywhere from every few weeks to every 3 months. We will discuss this together and decide what works best for you.
What About Reaching You Between Appointments?
Our patients love that we are available for communication between appointments to address concerns that may come up. Many of our patients that take medications feel at ease knowing that they can communicate any changes with us and receive a prompt answer. Emails and calls are generally returned within 1-2 business days. Emergent concerns or needs for medication adjustments will require a sooner appointment in almost all cases.

We are in network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum (United, Oscar), and Anthem BCBS of GA . We are unable to see patients with Medicaid or Medicare at this time.
If we are out of network for your plan, we can provide superbills to submit. Many PPOs may reimburse patients for out of network mental health services. For more information, we recommend asking your insurance about out of network benefits. This does not prevent insurance from being used to cover routine labs and medications.
